Dave Schultz 8x11
I purchase this at the Flyers-Kings game earlier this month. I will be scanning up items that I got signed at the Flyers Wives Carnival sometime soon.

I Know It's Been Awhile...
But I broke my computer for good. I will be getting a new one so I can update my blogs more often. This post was sponsored by SportsMemorabilia.com. If you need to get someone a special gift for the holiday season (not Hanukkah because it's over) SportsMemorabilia.com is the one-stop shop for sports memorabilia fans. They have an extensive collection of autographed and unsigned memorabilia for all your favorite athletes and teams. Is your significant other a Paul Holmgren fan, or maybe just a fan of the 1983-84 O-Pee-Chee set? Better act quick because this item is hot!

Keith Primeau
Keith Primeau 1998-99 Aurora Championship Fever
Keith is a now retired former Flyer captain. Prior to that, he had played for Carolina (pictured) and Detroit. He was a great player and it's a shame his career, like so many others, was ended early due to injury.

Martin Biron
Martin Biron 2002-03 Top Shelf
I like this 'graph, as it has to circles with a 'B' in one and has his 43 for which he is the best to ever wear. Biron played for the Flyers for three seasons. He was the starter in Philly's comeback season of 07-08. I have a painting of players from that season in my fan cave. I will put it up on Philly Phan some time in the future. Biron now backs up Lundqvist in New York. That move will assure Lundqvist more than a seven game rest this season.

Jochen Hecht
Jochen Hecht Picture
I purchased this at my first hockey game, in Buffalo, in 2004. Hecht is one of Germany's best players ever. He really hasn't had that special of a career. If there was a table of autos, you wouldn't be able to know which one is Hecht's, so it's not written great, but he's German so give him a break.

Mark Recchi
1996-97 Pacific Paramount Mark Recchi
Mark is still kickin' it in the league. He has become a journeyman in the past few seasons. With 3 Cups to his name along with being the highest game, assist, and point scorer still active. He has the second most goals and power play goals among active players behind Teemu Selanne. He's 13th in points all-time and a sure fire future Hall of Famer. I got this signed at the casino.

Tom Fitzgerald
Tom Fitzgerald 2000-01 Topps
This autograph was smudged in the process of insertification of the plastic holder. I do like how he puts his number inside of his 'g'. Tom was a journeyman, playing for a number of teams in his career. He is quite a nice guy and also signed my sheet and backpack. Fitzgerald retired a few years back.

Daniel Briere
Daniel Briere 2002-03 Piece of History
I am not a big fan of Briere. In saying that I will add that I never liked him with Buffalo, and I still don't think he's redeemed himself. Anyway, This was signed at a softball game for the local boys in blue: Put together of course, by Robert Esche, Whitesboro's golden boy. Briere also signs with his number, 48, which he was named the best player to ever wear (NHL.com).

Tom Poti
Tom Poti 2003-04 Upper Deck All-Star Class
He used a faulty red sharpie, but he put #3 instead of just 3, which is cool. If not for the sharpie, Poti has a neat sig. "Cruncher" is playing for Washington now. Guess where I got this one.

Shawn McEachern
Shawn McEachern 1998-99 Aurora.
Another card signed at the Turning Stone Signing.
I've always liked the autos with numbers. It's kind of scribbly, but it's an autograph of a pro hockey player.
McEachern threw my sister a puck over the glass at one of the charity games.

Jamie Langenbrunner
Jamie Langenbrunner 2001-02 Be A Player.
I got this signed in person at the casino where my dad works before a charity tourney that hometown favorite Rob Esche put together during the lock-out. I got many cards, a slice of paper (everyone) and a backpack (everyone) signed. Oh, and a hat (everyone).

Mark Mowers
Mark Mowers comes from the same place as Robert Esche and... me. He came to my local rink a while back (I think he was owned by Anaheim) and I got to skate with him. There was a camera crew there and I whispered to my friend to spray the camera. I think they heard me. They moved the camera after I said it, but I still was on the news, well the local news (It wasn't CNN's top priority at the time). Anyway I got this puck signed in person. I got it in Boston in the fifth grade when I went on the Whale Watch. That was fun, people puking left and right, me passing in and out because of some medicine my mom gave me. Freakin' Rami Salami, the creepy clown of Boston Market. Ah, memories.

Special
MY COMPUTER IS FIXED.
I would like my first post to be special and I can't quite seem to remember my first auto. So... I've decided to put a gift I got from a cool guy, or so I thought. My computer is retarted and I've been on safe mode for the past week, so I can't scan the picture.
2000-01 Upper Deck Vintage #263 Simon Gagne
normally I would have a picture but safe mode wont let me scan anything. It's a rather nice card/autograph, big, not that legible, number underneath. Here's the story.
Aunt's boyfriend is a Flyers fan. He's nice. He gave me the card. I'm pretty sure he got it in '06 because he has pictures with some guys from that year.
